Creative and detail-oriented visual communicator with nearly two decades of experience in advertising, marketing and higher education. Expertise spans brand management, identity development, multi-platform campaigns, website design, environmental graphics and event collateral.
In my current role as Associate Director of Creative Strategy and Brand Management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, I focus on creative design strategy and brand implementation for one of the world’s top aviation and aerospace institutions. I craft compelling, cohesive design solutions that resonate with diverse audiences, including prospective students, alumni, philanthropic supporters, corporate stakeholders and internal institutional partners. I am dedicated to mentoring our creative team and others within my department, contributing to their professional growth and helping new designers starting out develop their skills, ensuring their success and long-term career growth.
I currently live in central Florida, where I continue to pursue my passion for higher education, design and art. Before moving to the Sunshine State, I worked in the Pacific Northwest at Washington State University. My journey began in Mississippi, where I worked at a well-respected agency in the region after earning a B.F.A. in Graphic Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Volunteering has also played a part in my professional and personal journey. As a long-standing board member for the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Daytona Beach Chapter, I’ve held multiple roles, including Judging Chair, Communication Chair and Awards Co-Chair. I’ve also served as a competition chair / judge for various AAF chapters, the American Marketing Association, and UPCEA, as well as participated in student design portfolio reviews, offering my expertise to evaluate creative excellence. Additionally, I’ve supported initiatives like Habitat for Humanity and used my photography skills to benefit an animal shelter. I am also an active member of the Nicole Stott Art Gallery committee at Embry-Riddle, promoting arts and culture on campus and in my community.
